This celebration honors that a fter 300 years of Spanish rule, a group of Mexicans of Native and European descent led by priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Ignacio Allende , Juan Aldama , José Miguel Domínguez and Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez , prepared a rebellion . Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla called the people to join the fight for liberty on the night of September 15th, 1810 . Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, noon – 6 pm. Tickets are complimentary. Tickets are required for admission to the concert, though tickets do not guarantee admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Esta celebración honra que d espués de 300 años de dominio español, un grupo de mexicanos de ascendencia indígena y europe a liderado s por el sacerdote Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, Ignacio Allende, Juan Aldama, José Miguel Domínguez y Jo sefa Ortiz de Domínguez, prepararon una rebelión. Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla llamó a la gente a unirse a la lucha por la libertad en la noche del 15 de septiembre de 1810. Este fue el comienzo de año s de lucha que culminó con la independencia del territorio que hoy se conoce como México.
